- Type A water reducer
- Powdered concrete admixture that can help reducing water, delaying the setting of portland cement and maintaining slump life for half an hour to a few hours depending on the dosage rate
Normal dosage is 0.50 lb/yd3 to 2.0 lb/yd3 of concrete, added either at the batching plant or on-site
Consult manufacturer for higher dosages - Useful for maintaining slump and minimizing slump loss, particularly in hot weather conditions
- Good retarder. Trial batch to determine the set retardation and water reduction is recommended.
- Aids in reducing stickiness when combined with more potent water reducers such as polycarboxylate powder (Trumix P500) and aids in finishing concrete surfaces
- Compatible with most concrete admixtures and secondary cementitious materials (SCM).
